Exposure to advanced imaging technologies, including GE, Siemens, Hitachi, and Philips Magnets. Responsibilities Assist in performing MRI scans under the supervision of licensed MRI Technologists.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and explaining the process.
Support MRI operations, including patient positioning, scan preparation, and adherence to safety protocols.
Learn and apply scanning techniques for various MRI and MRA studies, including head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, and breast imaging.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and industry standards.
Participate in training sessions and coursework as part of an accredited MRI program.
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills to contribute to a patient-centered approach. Qualifications ARRT Certification in Radiology is required.
Currently enrolled in an accredited MRI technologist training program.
Strong interest in medical imaging and patient-centered care.
Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology (preferred).
Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
Must meet all health and safety requirements for clinical training.
