Job Summary The Lead CT Technologist will provide leadership and is responsible for the effective ongoing quality, productivity, and efficiency of the CT department. The Lead CT Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. Qualifications +
Education:
2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required. +
Experience:
Minimum of two years experience in CT, preferred. +
Licensure/Certification:
+ Certified and registered by ARRT in CT – RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or
CNMT, RT
(CT), required. + IV Credentialed, required. + Refer to the Life Support Training Policy

for life support training requirement, required + Applicable state license, required. + Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures, computer/information systems, equipment used in performing assigned duties, application of safety and infection control policies and procedures. Possesses abilities in team building, decision making, and conflict management. Able to perform and assist others with procedures and direct CT workflow. Applies advanced skills in area of specialization. Adapts procedures, protocols, techniques and equipment to meet special needs.
