UNC Health Job Description:

As a Travel CT Tech,you’ll perform high-quality computed tomography scans to assist inthe diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions.

You’ll work closely with radiologists and healthcare teams toensure optimal imaging and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and safetystandards
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuringcomfort and accuracy
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
• Administer contrast materials when required
• Monitor patientsduring scans and respond to any adverse reactions
• Maintaindetailed patient records and imaging data

Requirements:

• ARRTcertification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)required
• Active state license (or eligibility) to practice as aCT Technologist
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year ofrecent CT experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Knowledgeof cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and contrast use
• Experience with Siemens, GE, or Philips CT systems preferred AtARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
