Job Summary This position schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:45am-3:15pm, with flexibility, no call, no weekends. The Radiologic Technologist I works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the ambulatory setting. Qualifications Education:
2 Year / Associate Degree preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program required.
Experience:
Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography – RT(R) Required NH Medical Group Office Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography Additional Skills/Requirements (required):
Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures. – RT(R) required.
Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred)
Applies principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to patient, self, and others.
Demonstrates current knowledge of federal and state radiation safety laws.
Properly utilizes personnel monitoring devices.
Ensures proper equipment performance and schedules maintenance for emergent needs.
Properly operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
Independently performs radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures, as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
Assists a licensed practitioner in the performance of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including all intraoperative and mobile procedures including the following: ERCP’s, bronchoscopy, mini-c-arms, post reductions.
Mobile imaging including lines and pacers and neonates. Job Opening ID 83152
