Job Description

Overview The Team Leader, CT Technologist is responsible for the daily workflow and the performance of all patient services in the CT section of the Radiology department. What you will do.. . Assists the departmental managers in the workflow coordination and supervision of employees in the absence of a supervisor or manager. The Team Leader works with management to assist staff with the performance of duties, educational programs, orientation and the ongoing training of employees. Serves as a liaison between the team and management. Identifies opportunities to improve patient safety, services and operational workflow. Participates in projects and programs designed to reduce error and improve safety. Provides quality images of designated portions of the body by operating CT equipment under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. Provides patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner. Leads CT team in patient satisfaction initiatives. This position reports to the Supervisor, Imaging Services.
