Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Cardinal Points Imagingis currently seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technologist for aPart Time Flex position at our outpatient imaging center located inRaleigh.

Hours:

Tues, Wed, Thurs 9:00am-5:30pm.

JOB SUMMARY

: Underthe direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the DiagnosticImaging technologist: Performs radiographic procedures and relatedtechniques, producing images at the request of and forinterpretation by a licensed independent practitioner. Ensuresservices are performed in a safe environment in accordance withestablished guidelines and regulatory requirements. Serves as partof the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedbackfor improved clinical practice.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1-3 years’ experience as aRadiography Technologist

EDUCATION

Must have a minimum associate’sdegree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-yearradiology program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Must becertified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist(ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration fromARRT. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement forthe state in which they practice. BLS certification required within60 days of hire.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

Skill in operation ofradiographic equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.

Ability to work independently and multitask. Ability to providedocumentation accurately and concisely. Demonstrates understandingof human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, andmedical terminology. Knowledge of computer applications, includinginformation and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving,and retrieving of data.
