Description:

Local travelers (those who reside within 50 miles offacility) will not be considered for this need. To avoid delays inprocessing, please provide permanent address at profile upload.

Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilizationdevices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified areas of thebody requested by the physician. Capable of completing all routinediagnostic procedures. Move radiographic/fluoroscopic equipmentinto specified positions and adjust equipment controls to setexposure factors such as time and distance. Operate film processingequipment. Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment inoperating rooms, emergency rooms, or at the patient’s bedside.

Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiationexposure to patients and staff. Ability to prioritize and organizedaily workflow. Excellent oral and written communication skillswith strong interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills arerequired. Dress code includes hospital blue scrubs (provided),business casual with a lab coat, and basic plain personal scrubs.

No hooded sweatshirts are allowed. Closed-toe shoes such assneakers or clogs are required. Hair must be worn pulled back iflonger than shoulder length, and no dangling earrings arepermitted. Requested time off during the course of this assignmentmust be noted and verified at upload. Time off requests afterupload will not be approved. No more than 5 days of time off willbe accepted (less is better). This is a small community withoutpublic transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
