Description:
Positions patients on the examining table and adjustsimmobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of thespecified area of the body requested by the physician. Must becapable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. Movesradiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions andadjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time anddistance. Operates film processing equipment. Operates mobileradiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in the operating room,emergency room, or at patients’ bedsides. Practices radiationprotection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patientsand staff. Dress code includes hospital blue scrubs (provided),business casual with a lab coat, and basic plain personal scrubs.
No hooded sweatshirts are allowed. Closed-toe shoes such assneakers or clogs are required. Hair must be worn pulled back iflonger than shoulder length, and no dangling earrings arepermitted. Requested time off during the course of this assignmentmust be noted and verified upon upload. No more than 5 days ofrequested time off will be accepted. This is a small communitywithout public transport; candidates must have their ownvehicle.
