Radiology Technologist – Interventional Radiology We are seekinga highly skilled Radiology Technologist specializing inInterventional Radiology to join our team. In this role, you willassist in minimally invasive procedures by using advanced imagingtechnology to guide interventions, ensuring accurate and effectivepatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients forinterventional radiology procedures by explaining the process andpositioning them appropriately. Operate fluoroscopy and otherimaging equipment to provide real-time guidance during procedures.
Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeuticinterventions, such as angiograms, stent placements, or biopsies.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection controlprotocols during procedures. Monitor patients’ vital signs andensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure. Documentprocedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipmentto ensure optimal performance.
Work Environment:
Work in hospitalsor specialized interventional radiology suites equipped withadvanced imaging technology. Collaborate closely with physicians,nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-pacedenvironment. Be prepared for on-call responsibilities to assistwith urgent or emergency procedures.
