Required Qualifications:

One year’sexperience as Radiologic Technologist Current RadiologicTechnologist/ Radiography license in compliance with stateregulations Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

PreferredQualifications:

Current ARRT Certification Other certifications andlicenses may be required for this position

Summary:

The RadiologicTechnologist performs advanced imaging procedures usingradiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aidphysicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Theyensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, andcollaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate and effectivediagnostic results.

Essential Work Functions:

Educate patientsabout imaging procedures and answer questions if they arise Prepareand operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-qualitydiagnostic images according to physician orders Maintains equipmentand sterilizes the room in which procedure takes place Prepare andoperate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-qualitydiagnostic images according to physician orders Evaluates imagesfor quality, present images and preliminary findings to physiciansand health care team Maintain and inspect imaging equipment forproper functionality, troubleshooting issues and reportingmalfunctions as needed Document all imaging procedures andtechnical details accurately in patient records Follows hospitalsafety rules and procedures including infection control andradiation safety protocols Performs other duties as assigned withinthe scope of Radiologic Technologist practice

Required EssentialSkills:

Critical thinking, service excellence and goodinterpersonal communication skills The ability to read, write, &communicate in the English language is required Ability toread/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions,and proficiency in PC skills Physical Abilities

• Remain in astationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs),pushing, pulling, bending Interpersonal Skills
• To workeffectively with a variety of personnel (professional andancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalismTechnical/Motor Skills
• Ability to grasp, fine manipulation,pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting withprocedures and/or using department equipment. Mental Requirements
• Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public,customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able towork under close supervision occasionally as well as workingwithout assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contendwith irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuousconcentration to detail Sensory
