Job Summary and Qualifications
Registered Technologist with both administrative and clinical accountability to the Imaging department and designated service area. Work with the Director of Imaging Services to plan budget, workflow and staffing for all of the departments. Provides department coverage in the absence of the Director and provides assistance to all lead technologist to maintain compliance with staff competencies and quality requirements. Assist leads with implementing and updating department specific policies, procedures and standards with adherence to facility, state, federal and Joint Commission criteria. Oversees the ACR accreditations and monitors compliance of the ACR requirements. Provide leadership in development, optimization, and application of system protocols. Communicates on a daily basis all staff and patient related issues or problems that occur. Provide direction/action to ensure excellence in image quality and patient care employing technique that is both appropriate to patient age and clinical condition.
What qualifications you will need:
Basic Cardiac Life Support
3-7 years of experience
Registered Radiographer (ARRT) License
Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License
