Job:

AssistRadiologists, Surgeons, other physicians, and nursing staff in theexecution of minimally invasive studies and minor surgicalprocedures.

What You’ll Do:

Perform all studies and procedures in Interventional Radiology.

Basic understanding of imaging techniques, protocols, and abilityto prepare for ancillary equipment setup. Monitor procedure in progress, report materials consumed tophysician as necessary and document complications as theyoccur. Review pertinent patient medical history, verifying patient IDand reconciling physician requests with exams order, assuringpatient consent has been given. Assist Radiologist with minimally invasive fluoroscopicprocedures as required. Prepare and administrator IV, oral and rectal contrast asindicated by protocol. Transport and operate c-arms for procedures performed in theoperating room.

Who You Are:

Completion of two years of Radiology Technology training in anAMA approved school to meet the requirement for registry by theARRT or equivalent training required. ARRT (R) certification required or acquired. State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imagining Licenserequired. Basic Life Support required. A minimum of One to two years of Interventional Radiologyexperience preferred.
