Job Summary Reporting directly to the MRI Section Leader, theMRI Technologist performs a variety of MRI imaging procedures andis responsible for patient care and safety in the MRI environment.
Interacts with the Radiologist and patients to ensure successfulaccomplishment of MRI imaging. Participates in QA activities.
Minimum Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree in an AlliedHealth Field. Graduate of an accredited school of RadiologicTechnology. Experience Two years as a medical imaging technologistpreferred. Licensure and/or Certification Current registration asan imaging technologist required. Must obtain MRI registrationthrough ARRT within one year of hire as MRI technologist. BLShealthcare provider required. Skills Must have proficient IVskills.
Proficient in MR safety. Strong communication and customerservice skills. Must be computer proficient including PACS andHIS/RIS. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate inEnglish. Ability to maintain confidential information required.
