Job Summary:
Reportingto the Section Leader of CT, uses computed tomography to produceimages that assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury.
MinimumQualificationsEducation:
Graduate of an accredited school ofRadiologic Technology required.
Experience:
One or more years’experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
Licensure and/or
Certification:
Current registration as an R.T.(R)(ARRT). Currentadvanced CT registration or within one year of hire. Currentlicensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth ofMassachusetts required. BLS healthcare provider required.
Skills:
Must have IV skills and proficiency and knowledge of iodinatedcontrast media according to ACR guidelines.
Must possess a highlevel of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology. Must beproficient at performing a variety of diagnostic CT scans. Must becomputer proficient, including PACS and HIS/RIS. Must have theability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability tomaintain confidential information required.
