Job Summary Reporting to the Section Leader , the RadiologicTechnologist uses ionizing radiation to produce images of tissues,organs, bones and vessels that assist in the diagnosis of diseaseor injury.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of aneducation program accredited by the Joint Review Committee onEducation in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) required. Associate’sDegree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college orappropriate military training.
Experience:
Previous experience as aRadiologic Technologist preferred. Licensure and/or
Certification:
Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible withR.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire required. Current licensureas a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusettsrequired. BLS healthcare provider required.
Skills:
Strongcommunication and customer service skills. Must be computerproficient including PACS and HIS/RIS. Ability to read, write, andcommunicate in English. Ability to maintain confidentialinformation required.
