Description:
The unit hastwo interventional radiology suites. There are four nurses and fourtechs on the staff. Day shift staff and night shift on-callpositions are available. The average patient ratio is 10 patientsper room. Key equipment includes Philips biplane and Toshiba singleplane. Typically recruited skills include IR or Cath Labexperience, with a preference for candidates with neuro IRexperience. Common procedures performed include PICC lineplacements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, portplacement, ablations, ESI, EKOS for pulmonary embolism, and Trevofor stroke. Ideal candidates are hardworking and team players.
On-call responsibilities occur every 3rd to 4th weekend and oneweeknight. Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
