• Unlimited Referral Bonuses up to$1,000 Duties Responsibilities The primary responsibility of theInterventional Radiology Tech is to provide assistance with patientcare in the Interventional Radiology Department through theprovision of technical assistance to the IR team.
• Performdiagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinicalsetting.
• Operates conventional, fluoroscopic or radiologyequipment to obtain images of designated body parts according tophysician specifications and/or orders.
• Assists the physicianwith the performance of various diagnostic and interventionalprocedures, by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters,observing patient response to procedure, maintaining sterile field,interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data to be utilized by thephysician.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and localtechnical and professional regulations and accepted practicedguidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in aprofessional manner.
• Works effectively to maintain an environmentof excellence, which is patient focused, providing timely,compassionate, quality patient care.
• Prepare and update patientrecords accurately and legibly.
