We are seeking a Part-Time X-Ray Technician to join our growing family.

Position Overview:

This position involves performing musculoskeletal X-rays, assisting with patient care, and supporting our medical team in a fast-paced environment. Experience in an orthopedic or sports medicine setting is preferred. Additional training or experience as a medical assistant is a plus, as is familiarity with digital PACS systems and eClinicalWorks EMR.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for digital radiological procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Take high-quality musculoskeletal X-rays in accordance with established protocols. Assist with patient rooming, vital signs, procedure setup, charting, and patient follow-ups. Ensure all radiology equipment is properly maintained and complies with safety standards and regulations. Report any equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the exam rooms, and ensure radiological supplies are stocked. Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure patient care instructions are followed.

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably in orthopedic or sports medicine. AART certification (required). Familiarity with musculoskeletal X-ray duties and medical assistant responsibilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel occasionally between office locations as needed.

Additional Information:

While this position may require occasional travel between our various office locations, every effort will be made to maintain a consistent weekly schedule. In addition to taking x-rays, the technologist will also be expected to assist our MAs with duties such as checking-in/rooming patients, taking vitals, charting, setting up procedures for the physicians, bracing, etc.
