• Performs CAT Scan procedures following protocols established by theRadiologist
• Operates the CT scanner during IR procedures in theCT department.
• Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issuesfor equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies.
• Adheres to allInfection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPEneeded.
• Maintains licensure and BLS.
• Stays current andparticipates departmental training offered.
• Demonstratescourteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through politecommunication with all co- workers/customers.
• Understands andappreciates the need to provide good customer service, bothinternal and external.
• Participates in clinical activities (i.e.assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput ofpatients via Radiology Transport).
• Remains compliant oftimekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorized entries.

Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with lifesafety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and InfectionPrevention requirements.

• Attends staff meetings and reviews dailyhuddles to keep current on department communications.
• Participates in Departmental On Call and Holiday Requirements.

Experience Required General, Trauma and ED; Experience withPediatrics and Cardiac preferred but not necessary EducationRequirements Graduate of AMA Approved Radiologic TechnologistProgram. Must be enrolled in a qualified Computed Tomographyprogram License/Certification Requirements Current BLSCertification (Basic Life Support). Current ARRT License (AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists). Current
