Short DescriptionDirects daily activities within the department. Facilitatesemployee orientation and training. Performs area specific QA/QCprocedures. Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with theALARA concept. Assists physicians with radiographic procedures.
Performs various operations using radiographic and associatedequipment. Assures maintenance of all radiographic and associatedequipment. Maintains patient records via appropriate system.
Performs patient care functions in a safe environment. Adheres tohospital and departmental policies and procedures. Substantiatesstatus of good standing with state and nationallicensing/credentialing agencies by the submission of appropriatedocumentation. Interacts effectively with all customers. Assistsstaff and students in the performance of radiographic proceduresand associated duties. Participates in the evaluation of staff andstudents as needed. Assists with the transportation of patients,maintains work area and performs basic clerical duties. LI-CU1Experience Required Certificate of completion/Degree from anAccredited Radiograph Program. Minimum of 3 years clinicalexperience; biennial completion of minimum required CE credits tomaintain required certification/accreditation EducationRequirements HS or equivalent License/Certification RequirementsMust be licensed by the NJDEPE and credentialed in radiograph andmammography by the ARRT. Current ARRT – American Registry RadiologyTech License. Current
