Short DescriptionAssists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope ofinterventional Radiology and Vascular surgery to include but notlimited to oncology, vascular and trauma. Skill set must bemaintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated withinterventional procedures. Must be able to assist physicians in thecapacity of both a scrub and circulating technologist.

Maintainswork area:

Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitorssupplies and deficiencies. Adheres to all Infection Preventionpolicies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed. Maintains licensureand BLS. Stays current and participates departmental trainingoffered. Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc.through polite communication with all co- workers/customers.

Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customerservice, both internal and external. Participates in clinicalactivities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimizethroughput of patients via Radiology Transport).

Remains compliantof timekeeping rules:

Avoids early, late and unauthorized entries.

A Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with lifesafety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and InfectionPrevention requirements. Attends staff meetings and reviews dailyhuddles to keep current on department communications. ExperienceRequired 1-2 year of Interventional Radiology or CardiovascularInterventional Technology preferred Education Requirements Graduateof AMA approved program for Diagnostic Radiology and thereforeregistry eligible. NJ DEP license required upon hireLicense/Certification Requirements Current BLS. Current ARRT -American Registry Radiology Tech License. Current
