Preparingexamination rooms for patient examinations. Administeringradiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images. Positioningpatients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuringpatients’ comfort. Inserting commands and data into the computer todocument and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the videodisplay to adjust the density or contrast. Monitoring patientsduring examinations, ensuring their safety, and followingprocedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation. Producingdiagnostic images, reporting important information to thePhysician, and updating patients’ records. Organizing the dailyprocedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographicsupplies. Performing administrative tasks, such as answeringtechnical questions, scheduling appointments, and offeringpre-procedure advice.
