Duties:

Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic andinterventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbingside by side with a specialty proceduralist Strong knowledge ofFloor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines Theability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex productsduring interventional procedural cases The ability to thinkcritically during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases toassist the proceduralist The ability to operate the power injectionof iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic andinterventional procedures Strong communication skills usingclosed-loop communication The ability to maintain sterile techniqueand maintain infection prevention measures to set up proceduraltrays for caseload Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinaryteam with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons Knowledge ofdocumentation in electronic medical records and sending images tothe Sectra/PACs system Groin management post-interventionDemonstrate the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate the ability to provide high qualitycare in a fast paced environment This role is similar to acardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographiclicensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities
