Description:

Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic andinterventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbingside by side with specialty proceduralist Strong knowledge withFloor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines Theability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex productsduring interventional procedural cases The ability to criticallythink during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assistproceduralist The ability to operate power injection of iodinatedcontrast media device during diagnostic and interventionalprocedures Strong communication skills using closed loopcommunication The ability to maintain sterile technique andmaintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural traysfor case load Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team ofwith nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons Knowledge ofdocumentation in electronic medical record and send images toSectra/PACs system Groin management post intervention Demonstratethe ability to provide high quality care in a fast pacedenvironment BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heartassociation or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basiclife support measures Current licensure with the certification withARRT NJ state ( defined in above JD.) This role is similar to acardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographiclicensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities. 3-5 years ofexperience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or aCardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.

Schedule shift with rotating day off based on departmentalneeds.

On-call every 4th weekend starts from Friday 5pm

• Monday 7amwith one day per weekday call 5p-7am

Skills:

3-5 years of experienceas Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vasculartechnologist with NJ radiographic licensure.

Education:

RequiredEducation:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Associate degree.

OR-Completion of accredited radiographic program.

PreferredEducation:

• N/A Required Certifications & Licensure:

• NJradiographic licensure.
• BLS from an approved AHS credentialedAmerican heart association or a BLS accredited with skilldemonstration in basic life support measures.
• Current Radiography(R) certification with ARRT. Preferred Certifications & Licensure
