RequiredQualifications:

One year’s experience as Radiologic TechnologistCurrent Radiologic Technologist/ Radiography license in compliancewith state regulations Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications:

Current ARRT Certification Othercertifications and licenses may be required for this position

Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imagingprocedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-qualityimages that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medicalconditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain equipmentfunctionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliveraccurate and effective diagnostic results.

Essential WorkFunctions:

Educate patients about imaging procedures and answerquestions if they arise Prepare and operate advanced radiologicequipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according tophysician orders Maintains equipment and sterilizes the room inwhich procedure takes place Prepare and operate advanced radiologicequipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according tophysician orders Evaluates images for quality, present images andpreliminary findings to physicians and health care team Maintainand inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality,troubleshooting issues and reporting malfunctions as neededDocument all imaging procedures and technical details accurately inpatient records Follows hospital safety rules and proceduresincluding infection control and radiation safety protocols Performsother duties as assigned within the scope of RadiologicTechnologist practice

Required Essential Skills:

Critical thinking,service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills Theability to read, write, & communicate in the English language isrequired Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, followverbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills PhysicalAbilities

• Remain in a stationary position, move about, moveequipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending InterpersonalSkills
• To work effectively with a variety of personnel(professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude andprofessionalism Technical/Motor Skills
• Ability to grasp, finemanipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assistingwith procedures and/or using department equipment. MentalRequirements
• Must be able to cope with frequent contact with thegeneral public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.

Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as wellas working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able tocontend with irregular activity schedules occasionally andcontinuous concentration to detail Sensory
