Job Description:

Unit 75 mile radius rule. From the address on the traveler’sDriver’s license to Phoebe Putney in Albany GA. GeneralCertification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs/ARRT & otherspecialty certification requirements ARRT How many scanners/roomsdoes this department have? A total of 4 scanners, agency will staff2 Also, have a mobile unit- could be 2 travelers covering but willhave someone in house that is perm Will they have to float/coverany other areas? no Common types of imaging/studies performed & JobDuties Musculoskeletal imagining, basic neuro, a lot of abd/pelvis,rad onc, breast imaging Will see pacer and anesthesia patients aswell as ICU and NICU patients Experience or ‘Must have’ skills 1year of MRI experience, okay with a first time traveler Must haveexperience with Siemens and prefer Philips experience 1 year ofexperience, prefer travel experience and Level II trauma experienceis a huge plus- run more like a level I Average of scans/studiesper day 30 per day due to long protocols EMR &/or PACS (

Radiologists are in house during the day time- most are for IR butare willing to help out. Majority of MRI readers are remote. Dothey have to start IVs? (if applicable to the department) yesrequired Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Blockscheduling?) generally 4-10s Shifts start times are anywherebetween 8a and 12p Weekend Requirements Will only work weekends ifhired for a weekend shift High volume of inpatients 10-14 per dayand 4-8 outpatients per day on weekends.
