Full Job Description Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting.

Certification:

Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH. (manager willing to accept out of state license if candidate is willing to obtain NY license after offer) BLS certification issued by AHA Advanced-Level Certification (only need 1) from ARRT to include one of the following:

• ARRT (CI)
• Cardiac Interventional Radiology.
• ARRT (CV)
• Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology.
• ARRT (VI)

Vascular Interventional Radiology Job Description:

An interventional radiology technologist will assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Required Vaccines:

Varicella, TDAP, MMR, HEP B Miscellaneous/Additional Requirements:

Prefers to have someone who has knowledge in Computed Tomography Responsibilities Perform cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Monitor vital signs and telemetry to assess patient conditions during procedures. Utilize aseptic techniques and maintain a sterile environment. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and collaborate with medical teams to develop treatment plans. Stay updated with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to enhance patient care. Ensure compliance with ARRT certifications and maintain BLS certification.
