Full Time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, diagnostic evaluation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
– Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures Operate CT equipment and ensure images are of high quality Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Adhere to safety protocols and follow infection control procedures Assist with the maintenance and calibration of CT equipment Qualifications Valid certification as a CT Technologist Previous experience in nuclear medicine or diagnostic radiology preferred Knowledge of urgent care procedures and protocols is a plus Excellent technical skills in operating CT equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
