The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. Working in a Level II Trauma Center, you will play a crucial role in patient care by providing accurate imaging that aids in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques is essential for success in this role. Kenmore, NY 40 Hours Rotating Shift June and July Start 13 Weeks $3700 Weekly Gross Responsibilities Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring high-quality images are obtained. Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, adhering to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations. Ensure proper functioning of CT equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures. Assist in urgent care scenarios by providing timely imaging services as needed. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques, including sonography and mammography. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Proficiency in performing CT scans with an understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes. Familiarity with urgent care protocols and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience with sonography techniques is a plus. Ability to apply aseptic techniques during imaging procedures. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
