Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced environment, such as a Level I or Level II Trauma Center. This position requires expertise in CT imaging, along with a solid understanding of anatomy and experience in various medical settings, including emergency medicine and urgent care. Responsibilities Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures. Maintain and operate CT equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and answering questions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times. Assist in training new staff members or students as needed. Requirements Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with specialized training in Computed Tomography (CT). Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center preferred. Proficiency in diagnostic radiology, including X-ray and sonography techniques. Knowledge of emergency medicine practices and protocols. Familiarity with nuclear medicine is a plus. Strong understanding of human anatomy to ensure precise imaging. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in an emergency room or urgent care setting.
