Work Experience:
This position performs MRI procedures ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and quality control. Responsibilities include patient screening, positioning, operating MRI equipment, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and documenting procedures in the EMR. Interviews patient prior to MRI procedure for MRI safety prior to performance of the procedure. Ensures patient safety, including correctly identifying every patient using approved two (2) patient identifiers at every point of contact in the MRI suite. One (1) year of MRI experience,
Relevant Equipment Education:
Associate’s degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
License:
Valid license as a Radiologic Technologist issued by NYSDOH. Advanced-Level Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
Certifications:
