Description:

The Mammography Technologist isresponsible for performing mammograms in a clinical setting.

Candidates must possess a certification in Mammography with ARRT.An active state license is required for practice. The role requiresa minimum of 200 mammograms performed in the last 24 months. AHABLS certification is essential. Continuing education is mandatory,with 24 credit hours required per biennium, including 15 credithours specifically in mammography. Training in digital mammography(8 hours) is required. Training in tomography (8 hours) is alsonecessary. Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of experience inthe U.S. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from thefacility.
