Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at thetime of the offer. Responsibilities Perform computerizedtomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injuryaccording to protocols established by radiologists.

• Prepare andposition patients and select anatomic and technical parametersaccurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/ormedication within the accepted scope of practice and applicablestate and federal regulations.
• Observe patient during procedureand report abnormal activity.
• Monitor protocols and recommendupdates or refinements as warranted.
• Follow radiation safetyprocedures and guidelines.

Requirements Licensure / Certification /

Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) ofhire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Associationor American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologistcredentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
• Nuclear Medical Techcredentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology CertificationBoard (NMTCB) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date orjob transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography SpecialtyCertification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing inComputed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified NuclearMedicine Technologist Certification.
• Radiologic Technologistspecializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registryof Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologistspecializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulativeexperience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years ofapplicable cumulative job specific experience required. AdditionalPreferences
• XR and CT certified with 2 years of experiencepreferred.
