Job Summary:

We are seeking aMammography Technologist to join our team at the Cumberland Gothamlocation in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate should be experiencedin both mammography and general radiography. You will beresponsible for conducting diagnostic mammograms and ensuringhigh-quality imaging for accurate interpretation by radiologists.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality diagnosticmammograms in accordance with ARRT and NYSDOH standards. Ensurepatient comfort and safety during imaging procedures. Operate andmaintain mammography and radiologic equipment. Ensure accuratedocumentation and image management in PACS systems. Collaboratewith radiologists and healthcare team for optimal patient care.

Participate in QA/QC processes and maintain regulatory compliance.

Assist with X-ray exams when needed (dual modality experiencepreferred). Maintain continued competency (minimum 200 mammographycases in last 2 years required).

Experiences and certification:

2year of experience as a Mammography Technologist. Valid RadiologicTechnologist license issued by NYSDOH. Post-primary certificationin Mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Associate’s Degree (or equivalent community college qualification).

Preferred Skills:

Experience performing both X-ray and mammographyexams. Familiarity with relevant imaging and PACS equipment.

Compliance with 200-case mammography requirement in the past 24months.
