• Completion of a two year approved School ofRadiologic Technology
• Valid state radiology registration asrequired by state law
• Two years of Mammographic Technologistexperience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

• Prepare for andassist the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammographyexaminations, including breast biopsies.
• Produce high qualityfilms for the radiologist to evaluate.
• Complete patient educationregarding the exam.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, andlocal technical and professional regulations and accepted practicedguidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in aprofessional manner.
• Works effectively to maintain an environmentof excellence, which is patient focused, providing timely,compassionate, quality patient care.
• Promotes and maintains asafe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporatingnational patient safety initiatives.
