Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at thetime of the offer. Responsibilities Perform computerizedtomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injuryaccording to protocols established by radiologists. Prepare andposition patients and select anatomic and technical parametersaccurately. Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medicationwithin the accepted scope of practice and applicable state andfederal regulations. Observe patient during procedure and reportabnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates orrefinements as warranted. Follow radiation safety procedures andguidelines. Requirements Licensure / Certification /

Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or jobtransfer date required. American Heart Association or American RedCross accepted. Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed fromthe Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days)of hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of thefollowing required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from theNuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtainedwithin 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT)Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomographyrequired in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear MedicineTechnologist Certification. Radiologic Technologist specializing inRadiography credentialed from the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hiredate or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing inComputed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days)of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

High School diplomaequivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative jobspecific experience required. Additional Preferences XR and CTcertified with 2 years of experience preferred.
