Job Summary:

we are seeking skilled Mammography Technologiststo perform high-quality mammographic procedures for screening anddiagnostic purposes. The technologist ensures compliance withapplicable regulations and standards while prioritizing patientcare, safety, and comfort throughout the imaging process.

PrimaryDuties and Responsibilities:

Perform mammography procedures forboth screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with physicianorders and regulatory guidelines. Operate digital mammographyequipment and ensure proper functioning and image quality. Maintainaccurate patient records and imaging logs. Educate patients on theprocedure, addressing questions or concerns to ease anxiety. Complywith all safety, quality assurance, and infection controlprotocols. Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcarestaff to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. Maintain equipmentand report any issues requiring maintenance or repair.

RequiredSkills & Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a mammographytechnologist. Proficient in operating mammography-specific imagingequipment.

Education and Certification Requirements:

ValidRadiologic Technologist license issued by the New York StateDepartment of Health (NYSDOH). Current Post-primary certificationin Mammography from the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists (ARRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification fromthe American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
