Job Overview:

We are seeking askilled and compassionate X-ray Technologist to join our outpatientimaging team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnosticradiographic procedures with precision, accuracy, and attention topatient comfort. As part of a multidisciplinary team, thetechnologist will contribute to patient care by producinghigh-quality images that aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examsas prescribed by physicians
  • Prepare and position patientsaccurately to achieve optimal imaging results
  • Ensure patientsafety and comfort throughout the imaging process
  • Operate andmaintain X-ray equipment, ensuring proper calibration andfunctionality
  • Review images for quality assurance and followprotocols for image storage
  • Adhere to established radiationsafety standards and infection control guidelines
  • Documentpatient information accurately and complete reports as required
  • Collaborate with other radiology and healthcare professionals tosupport optimal patient care
  • Maintain knowledge of advancementsin radiologic technology and imaging techniques
Qualifications:
  • Certification:

    ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)certification in Radiography required

  • Licensure:

    Current statelicensure as required by law

  • Education:

    Associate’s degree inRadiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program

Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an X-rayTechnologist, preferably in an outpatient or clinical setting

Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of radiologicprocedures, anatomy, and patient positioning
  • Proficiency withimaging software and radiologic equipment
  • Excellent interpersonaland communication skills, with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handlemultiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizationalskills
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality andprofessionalism at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experiencein outpatient or ambulatory care setting
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)certification
  • Knowledge of additional imaging modalities (e.

g.,CT, MRI) is a plus

Compensation:

Hourly rate is dependent onexperience, knowledge, and skillset but is typically in the$34

  • 46/hour range.
