Job Responsibilities:
Operate CT(Computed Tomography) equipment to produce high-quality diagnosticimages for physician interpretation. Prepare patients for CTprocedures, including explaining the process, positioning themcorrectly, and ensuring their safety and comfort. Administercontrast agents as required and monitor patients for adversereactions. Follow established protocols to capture images ofspecific body parts, ensuring accurate and clear diagnosticresults. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcareprofessionals to evaluate images and ensure accurate diagnosis.
Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure proper functioningand compliance with safety standards. Document patient information,imaging procedures, and maintain accurate records in compliancewith regulatory requirements. Respond promptly to emergencysituations and provide necessary assistance.
Job Requirements:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) withspecialization in CT. A minimum of 2 years of experience in CTimaging. State licensure in Radiologic Technology (if applicable).Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Strongknowledge of CT imaging techniques, equipment, and safetyprocedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressureenvironment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
