Job Summary:

weare seeking a qualified Interventional Radiologic Technologist

• Diagnostic to support our interventional radiology team.

Thetechnologist will assist radiologists in performing minimallyinvasive, image-guided procedures using fluoroscopy, CT,ultrasound, and other imaging modalities. Responsibilities includeoperating angiographic equipment, administering contrast materials,maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring the highest level ofpatient safety and comfort.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures,including balloon angioplasty and stent placement. Operate andmaintain complex imaging equipment used in interventional radiologyprocedures. Administer contrast media under the direction of aphysician. Monitor and document patient vitals and procedural data.

Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and infectioncontrol standards. Collaborate with interventional radiologists,nurses, and other healthcare professionals during procedures.

Participate in on-call rotations, including weekend shifts asscheduled.

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum 2 year ofexperience in interventional radiology, including use ofangiographic equipment and techniques such as balloon angioplastyand stenting.

Education Requirements:

Associate’s degree from anaccredited Radiologic Technology program.

Licensure & CertificationRequirements:

Valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by theNew York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) (can be obtainedpost-offer). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification fromthe American Heart Association (AHA). Current advanced-level ARRTCertification in one of the following specialties (only onerequired): ARRT (CI)
