Weekends Required PositionSummary:

Jacobi Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicatedInterventional Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. Thetechnologist will assist interventional radiologists in performingminimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeuticprocedures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withangiographic imaging systems and interventional devices such asballoon catheters and stents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate andmaintain angiographic and interventional imaging equipment
• Assistphysicians during image-guided procedures (e.g., angioplasty,stenting)
• Administer contrast media and monitor patient responses
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout procedures
• Document imaging data and maintain accurate patient records
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and radiation protectionguidelines

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recentexperience in interventional radiology using:
• Angiographicequipment
• Balloon angioplasty
• Vascular stenting

EducationRequirements:

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology(required)

Licensure & Certifications:

• Valid RadiologicTechnologist license issued by NYSDOH (may be obtained post-offer
• Current BLS certification by AHA
• At least one advanced ARRTcertification (required):
• ARRT (CI)
• Cardiac InterventionalRadiography
• ARRT (CV)
• Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography
• ARRT (VI)

• Vascular Interventional Radiography Preferred:

• Familiarity with CT imaging is a plus

Additional Notes:

• Weekendshifts are required (8:00 AM
• 4:00 PM)
• Candidates must beflexible with scheduling as needed
