Key Responsibilities Review radiology requisitions and physician orders to ensure accurate and appropriate imaging. Position and prepare patients for CT procedures, including the use of immobilization devices as needed. Perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans and radiographs by adjusting exposure factors according to protocol. Administer contrast media via venipuncture, monitor for adverse reactions, and report any complications. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment. Ensure proper usage of safety equipment, including lead aprons, shields, and gloves. Assist with the orientation of new technologists and provide guidance to radiology students when applicable. Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians by communicating wet/stat reads and discussing results when appropriate. Stay current in industry knowledge and best practices through ongoing professional development.

Candidate Requirements Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of recent CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Licensure:

ARRT (CT) certified and New York state licensed (or eligible)

Skills:

Strong communication, patient care, and technical imaging expertise
