Job Description:
As aTravel CT Tech, you’ll perform high-quality computed tomographyscans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range ofmedical conditions. You’ll work closely with radiologists andhealthcare teams to ensure optimal imaging and patient care.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physicianorders and safety standards
- Prepare and position patients forprocedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy
- Operate and maintain CTimaging equipment
- Administer contrast materials when required
- Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions
- Maintain detailed patient records and imaging data Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography(CT) required
- Active state license (or eligibility) to practiceas a CT Technologist
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 yearof recent CT experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, andcontrast use
- Experience with Siemens, GE, or Philips CT systemspreferred At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
