• 5 shifts X 8hours (40 hours a week)
• 12-week assignment Description of job:

CT/MRI Technologists at Upstate University Hospital performadvanced diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography(CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. They areresponsible for preparing patients, operating imaging systems, andensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. The rolerequires strong technical skills, attention to patient safety, andcollaboration with physicians and healthcare staff.

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certifications
• Current NY Rad Tech license
• ARRTCertification
• 1 year of experience required

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT and MRI scans based on physician orders,ensuring proper patient positioning and protocol adherence. Reviewpatient histories and explain procedures , addressing questions orconcerns to ensure patient comfort and cooperation. Operate andmaintain imaging equipment , reporting any malfunctions andfollowing safety and quality control standards. Monitor patientsduring procedures , recognizing and responding to signs of distressor adverse reactions to contrast media.
