ARRT, and OR C-Arm Experience CompleteDescription:

Performs technical radiographic assignments. Exercisescomplex skills, judgement and knowledge of the principles andmethods of Radiologic Technology. Performs diagnostic radiographicstudies as requested. Operates portable diagnostic radiographicequipment where needed. Performs Infection Control according toUniversal Precautions. Radiologic Technologist shall have theability to provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatricpatients.

Job Duties:

• Operates with accuracy: Radiographicequipment, Image processor, and other related equipment of similarscope and complexity across different modalities. Evaluates imagequality and demonstrates accuracy of radiographic positioning basedon procedure guidelines.
• Ensures that proper radiation protectionis used for self, patient, and other personnel by use of propercollimation and lead shielding when applicable.
• Demonstratesflexibility in assuming emergency call weekday, weekend, andholiday rotation in addition to routine hours.

Demonstratescompetency in RIS. Utilizes system to enter and edit patientdemographics and charges. Records other appropriate data includingrepeat rate notes, etc. Demonstrates competency with

CR & PACS

forimage processing, image review, proper protocol selection, care anduse of imaging plates and cassettes as well as troubleshooting.
