Rotating on-call, weekends, and holidays Explore New York’s Finger Lakes While Advancing Your Radiology Career We’re seeking a certified Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in one of the most scenic and vibrant regions of New York State. This is an exciting opportunity for techs who want a rewarding work environment paired with the beauty and adventure of the Finger Lakes. Whether you’re an experienced traveler or exploring contract work for the first time, this assignment offers a balanced mix of professional challenge and natural tranquility—just in time for the summer-to-fall season. What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll perform a variety of diagnostic radiologic procedures with precision and care across inpatient and outpatient settings. You’ll be expected to bring a high level of technical skill, attention to safety protocols, and confidence in both routine and emergency imaging scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic studies and operate related equipment (including portable imaging units and C-Arm in OR) Maintain accurate and high-quality imaging with adherence to procedure protocols Utilize proper radiation safety techniques for yourself, patients, and staff Operate and troubleshoot
PACS, CR
systems, and RIS with attention to workflow accuracy Administer contrast media and monitor for potential reactions, responding as needed Maintain a clean, compliant work environment in accordance with infection control standards What We’re Looking For ARRT Certification required Must have experience operating in the OR, including C-Arm procedures Experience with PACS, RIS, and CR systems strongly preferred Ability to manage rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday shifts Demonstrated professionalism and ability to care for infant through geriatric populations
Additional Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and positioning accuracy Effective communication and collaboration skills Comfortable navigating EMRs and clinical systems Able to manage workflow independently while meeting high clinical standards
