Week Contract Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 12-week contract assignment in our X-Ray department. The ideal candidate will have experience performing both radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in a hospital setting, with a strong focus on patient care and imaging accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopic procedures according to physician orders Ensure proper patient positioning and use of protective equipment Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently Evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic accuracy Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures Follow all radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide optimal patient care Assist in maintaining equipment and reporting any issues or malfunctions

Qualifications:

Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent Active New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license Certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment preferred
