Job Description:
As a Travel MRI Tech, you’llperform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures toassist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients across a varietyof clinical settings. You’ll work alongside radiologists andhealthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patientsafety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans followingphysician orders and imaging protocols
- Prepare and positionpatients for MRI exams, ensuring safety and comfort
- Operate MRIequipment and monitor imaging quality
- Administer contrast agentsas needed and monitor for adverse reactions
- Maintain clear,accurate patient records and scan documentation
- Ensure adherenceto MRI safety regulations, including screening forcontraindications
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in MRI (MR)required
- Active state license or eligibility, as applicable
- BLScertification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience ina clinical or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge ofcross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety procedures
