Radiology CT JobDescription:
As a Travel CT Tech, you’ll perform high-qualitycomputed tomography scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatmentof a wide range of medical conditions. You’ll work closely withradiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal imaging andpatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans inaccordance with physician orders and safety standards
- Prepare andposition patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
- Administer contrastmaterials when required
- Monitor patients during scans and respondto any adverse reactions
- Maintain detailed patient records andimaging data
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R)and Computed Tomography (CT) required
- Active state license (oreligibility) to practice as a CT Technologist
- BLS certificationrequired
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience in a clinical orhospital setting
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiationsafety, and contrast use
