Facility in Erie, PA Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing is seekinga skilled CT Tech for a 13 week travel assignment in Erie, PA. Required Qualifications:

One year of recent experience as aCT Technologist Valid Radiology license in compliance with stateregulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

PreferredQualifications:

Current ARRT Certification Other certifications andlicenses may be required for this position

Summary:

The CT Techoperates computerized tomography (CT) scanners to producecross-sectional images of patients’ bodies for diagnostic purposes.

They prepare patients for the procedure, position patients withconsiderations for safety and image accuracy, ensure proper imagingprotocols are followed, and work closely with radiologists toobtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. CT Techs alsomaintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safetyprocedures to minimize radiation exposure and provide compassionatecare to patients throughout the imaging process.

Essential WorkFunctions:

Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional imagesof bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes Preparepatients for procedures, explain imaging process, and positionpatients appropriately Set appropriate technical parameters toaccurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology Provide high-qualityimages to Radiologist for interpretation Adhere to radiation safetystandards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safetyPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment toensure proper functionality Document patient information, imagingparameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’ssystem Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and otherhealthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic servicesAbility to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols acrossvarious healthcare facilities Perform other duties as assignedwithin the scope of CT Tech practice

Required Essential Skills:

Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonalcommunication skills The ability to read, write, & communicate inthe English language is required Ability to read/comprehend writteninstructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PCskills Physical Abilities

• Remain in a stationary position, moveabout, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bendingInterpersonal Skills
• To work effectively with a variety ofpersonnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positiveattitude and professionalism Technical/Motor Skills
• Ability tograsp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move aboutwhen assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.

Mental Requirements

• Must be able to cope with frequent contactwith the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines underpressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionallyas well as working without assistance from other personnel.
